After three weeks of being parted from my two favorite coffee places, I think I’ll make it a double cappuccino day.
House of Small Wonder in Williamsburg looks like someone reached inside my brain and designed the perfect coffeeshop. I just wonder what I’m gonna do when they move.

Mexican mocha at Beaner Bar in Williamsburg. It’s like your morning espresso, spicy dinner, and chocolatey dessert in one drink.
Iced Coffee from Caffe Capri. I was looking for a bit of summer caffeination on Graham Avenue today and the handwritten sign outside this old-school Italian candy store said their iced coffee was the best in NYC. I was prepared to be disappointed but actually it’s really good—served slushy style, with ice made from coffee so it doesn’t get watered down. The older couple behind the counter were lovely, too. If you’re looking for iced coffee in the area skip the hipster enclave at Variety down the street and give this a try.
